Kurt Jerman has made his life’s work in the boating industry as a cruiser, salesman, brand ambassador / distributor, broker, working in manufacturing and running a charter operation and sailing school. He is the owner and founder of West Coast Mutlihulls, and enjoys nothing more than creating long lasting friendships with the sailors he encounters everyday as WCM guides them along their various journeys, from novices to those seeking distant horizons.

Guinevere has been sailing and living aboard her 47’ sailboat since 2014, enjoying a bit of the cruising lifestyle in Southern California and in the Sea of Cortez with her partner – Photographer / Videographer Eddie Frank. She is passionate about sharing this unique lifestyle with others and found her calling when she met Kurt Jerman at WCM in 2018. She took over sales of charters and lessons in San Diego and Mexico in 2019, and is excited about WCM’s future as the premier Catamaran Sailing Adventure Company and ASA Sailing School.

Kim is a licensed California yacht broker with more than 30 years in the boating industry. She began her career in charter and sailing school operations, where she learned to sail and met her longtime business partner, Kurt Jerman. For over 10 years, Kim and Kurt have specialized in new and pre-owned catamarans, together selling more than 110 catamarans and trimarans. As a boat owner herself, Kim offers firsthand insight into ownership, maintenance, and real-world cruising considerations. She also represents power yachts and sailboats with Denison Yachting, which shares offices with West Coast Multihulls.

Don Margraf still thinks of himself as a sailor… and rigger, and inventor, and teacher, and writer and guitar picker. As a sales representative for various multihulls, he has helped scores of couples, solo sailors, cruisers and racers find the right boat for their needs, and helped them at every step to get more out of their sailing.

With over 30 years in the boat business, Don has been a delivery skipper, a surveyor, a consultant to builders, owner of a rigging business, and a protege to a naval architect. As a rep for most of the major multihull builders, he is familiar with the concept strengths of each design. As a rigger, he has inspected their engineering details. As a sailor, in deliveries, races and cruises, he has seen first hand what most of them can do on all the big oceans.
