Seawind 1370 Catamaran

New Model July 10, 2020!

With the introduction of the 1370, Seawind marks entry into the hottest segment of the cruising catamaran market – 45 feet. While a new design from the ground up, it borrows heavily from the best aspects of her predecessors and maintains the essential Seawind DNA. This is a boat meant to sail briskly in light airs, take her passengers safely through the heavier stuff, carry a full cruising payload, and provide single-level daily living for a cruising couple or family heading off to far-flung anchorages.

Construction aims to be nearly bulletproof, with carbon fiber reinforced stress areas. A tall two-spreader rig and ample sail area will carry her well, including excellent pointing ability. The expansive trademark Seawind cockpit and tri-fold door are intact, but the galley-up design and shaded windows are a nod to the award-winning interior of the 52-ft 1600.

The innovative breakfast bar and galley layout are both attractive and practical. Twin helms are well-protected and ergonomically functional, with comfortable seating on either side, and electric winches close at hand to do the hard work. Joinery and finish are excellent throughout, with too many smart touches to cover here.

Seawind 1370 Catamaran Layouts

The 1370 is available in four layouts, including what we think will be the most popular for the American cruising market: 3 cabin (master suite) and two heads, pictured here.
